Ad Hoc Grad Strats
I am a nervous person. If you know me socially, you know that this is true. Because I am a nervous person, I am constantly trying to find ways to improve the efficiency of my research. These are things that I have used in the course of my anxiety-ridden graduate school career. These strategies have the potential to be absolute garbage, so make of them what you will.
Best case scenario: these little logs of my research processes help you find a new way to approach your own work.
Worst case scenario: Maybe none of these things are useful, BUT now you know that there is at least one graduate student who is (1) nervous and (2) Type A enough to document the micromanagement of their own research strategies and post the resulting how-to articles on the dadgum Internet.
